The real measure of our quality comes from the fact that we take the time to understand exactly what it is each client needs without trying to upsell or shoehorn them into some pre-existing package or pre-defined workflow. All of our work is customized and scaled to the unique requirements of our customers and we truly believe in providing a quality service at a fair price. We know small business because we are one.

Our Process:

We provide all the services you would expect from a web design and development company as well as a few that you probably wouldn't. We begin by offering a free, limited consultation (via e-mail) based on the needs that you have expressed in your E-mail. We'll discuss feature requirements and wish-lists, budget and time-frame, and most importantly, business goals and your customers' experience. Then, at your request, we'll provide an initial project estimate based on our discussion. After reviewing the estimate, you may or may not choose to proceed with the project and move on to the detailed planning and implementation phase.

At this point, a final, detailed estimate is prepared and, upon approval, the initial construction (or redesign) work begins. Be aware that 50% of the total estimate is due before work commences, another 25% is due upon initial delivery and presentation, and the final 25% (adjusted for actual hours worked) is due after any final tweaks (or agreed upon revisions) are done, but before the work is made "live" or otherwise released to the client. There is a rarely-invoked 10% contingency clause attached to each estimate to cover any unplanned work that may become necessary. Therefore, the most you would ever pay is 110% of the estimate, and the least you would ever pay is 75%, with the average usually being about 90-100%.

Our Price:

On the subject of price, we're much more comfortable about disclosing ours up front than some providers because we know you'll have trouble finding a comparable caliber of service for less. Typically, all work we do is billed at US$80/hour (subject to certain binding limits based on your final project estimate). We track our hours to the nearest 15-minute increment (0.25 hours). While we welcome projects of any size, the minimum initial commitment for new design and development clients is US$400 (100% applicable towards your service). However, this does not apply to consulting, training, maintenance or any other ongoing service that we provide for existing customers, which carry no minimum.

Under rare circumstances, we might need to increase our hourly rate for specialized tasks or services. For example, while we typically perform 100% of all work in-house, some extremely unconventional and/or high-end projects might call for expertise which we need to sub-contract for from our pool of trusted and talented freelancers. In this unlikely scenario, we will alert you to this need and fully disclose all estimated costs in advance. It is this flexibility that — regardless of what you want to accomplish with your Internet presence — allows us to say "yeah, we can do that," and really mean it.
